Our immune system – always working for us

Whether viruses, bacteria, fungi or parasites: Every day our immune system works at full speed and defends the body against harmful intruders. But how does the whole thing work? If pathogens penetrate the organism, the first chain of defense becomes active: The so-called innate immune system ensures that the uninvited guests are rendered harmless with the help of phagocytes.

However, if there are too many or dangerous pathogens, the second line of defenses is used: the acquired immune system. In contrast to the innate defense, this is much more "accure" because it has a "long-term memory". In other words, the immune cells store important information about the pathogens. In this way, the body can form the appropriate antibodies in the event of a new infection and defend itself quickly and specifically against the invaders.

Does this mean, conversely, that we become immune to colds and flu-like infections? It is not that simple, because the pathogens of colds are constantly changing. This makes it all the more important to strengthen your immune system so that your own defense system works smoothly.

Activate the body's own defenses

Engystol® strengthens the immune system and activates the body's own defenses. Thanks to its antiviral properties, it can support the immune defense immediately upon the appearance of the first symptoms. Study results show that Engystol® can shorten the duration of colds and flu-like infections.

All ingredients are homeopathic as follows:
Tablets: 1 tablet containing:Asclepius vincetoxicum 6X, Asclepius vincetoxicum 10X, Asclepius vincetoxicum 30X, 75mg each, Sulphur 4X, Sulphur 10X 37.5mg each.

Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, Magnesium stearate.

Dosage: 

Engystol® can be taken without food - preferably several times throughout the day. It dissolves quickly in the mouth - and is thus the perfect companion for on the go.
In case of acute complaints, Engystol® can be used up to 6 times a day.

Adults and children from 12 years
Unless otherwise prescribed, in case of acute complaints, allow 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth every half to a whole hour, at most 6 times a day. In chronic forms, 1 tablet can be used 1 to 3 times a day.

School children from 6 to under 12 years
In acute conditions, every half to full hour, at most 6 times a day, no more than two-thirds of the adult dose. In chronic forms, each two-thirds of the adult dose can be used 1 to 3 times a day.
Dissolve 1 tablet in about 150 ml of water. Give the child two-thirds of the amount and throw away the rest.

Children from 1 to under 6 years
In acute conditions, every half to a full hour, at most 6 times a day, no more than half the adult dose. In chronic forms, no more than half of the adult dose can be used 1 to 3 times a day. Dissolve 1 tablet in about 150 ml of water. Give the child half of the amount and pour away the rest.

The medicine should not be used for more than one week without medical advice.
